.Mission Statement.

Jam Jar Records is a small independent label with a difference. The label is voluntarily run and receives no money from record sales. Rather, the majority of the profit goes directly to the artists, while a cut goes to a charitable organisation. Our aim is to promote unsigned, yet talented and innovative musicians. We act as a hub for artists seeking promotion, as well as enthusiasts of independent new music. Though we are based in Oxford, we are interested in artists from any location.

Jam Jar Records is both a small business as well as a community. Because we are a non-profit organisation all of our products are sold at a low and standardised price. The low price is intended to attract as great an audience as possible whilst simultaneously ensuring the label is not run at a loss.

We seek to detract from commercialism and emphasise community and the bringing of small-scale musicians to a larger audience. Jam Jar Records could therefore help you or your band to reach a wider public, and a public actively interested in small scale independent music.
